Champ ("we", "our", or "us") built the CNC Machines app as a free tool for CNC workshop professionals. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Information We Collect
CNC Machines is designed to work fully offline. All data you enter in the app — machines, materials, tools, job records, costs, timers, and receipts — is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
We may collect the following data through third-party services:
- Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregated data on which features are used most (via Firebase Analytics), to help us improve the app experience.
- Crash reports: Automated, anonymous crash logs (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us identify and fix bugs quickly.
- Device information: Device type, OS version, and app version — used solely for diagnostic purposes.
We do not collect: your machine data, job records, cost calculations, receipts, vectors, names, email addresses, location, payment information, or any personally identifiable information.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
All content you create within the app is stored exclusively on your device:
- Machine, material and tool profiles you save
- Job cost calculations and estimates
- Timer records and job history
- Generated receipts and vouchers
- Exported vectors and design files
This data is under your full control. Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data. We recommend backing up important records through your device's standard backup system.
3. How We Use Collected Information
The limited anonymous data we collect is used exclusively to:
- Monitor and improve app stability and performance
- Understand which features are most valuable to users
- Identify and fix bugs reported automatically
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Data Retention
Anonymous analytics and crash data collected through Firebase is retained for up to 14 months per Firebase's default configuration. No personally identifiable data is stored by us at any time.
6. Children's Privacy
CNC Machines is a professional tool intended for adults working in manufacturing and related industries. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 13.
7. Your Rights
Since all your personal workshop data is stored only on your device, you have full control over it at all times. Regarding the anonymous analytics data we collect, you may:

8. Security
We use commercially acceptable means to protect data, including HTTPS encryption for all network communication. Since your workshop data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security mechanisms.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
